Scope of services

Three work steps before and after the application.

Eligibility assessment

First, the programmes open to the project are identified: in Germany, BAFA, federal-state and EU programmes; for companies domiciled in Türkiye additionally the market entry support under Communiqué 5973, submitted via DYS. The result is recorded in writing.

Documentation

Following the eligibility assessment, the evidence is compiled: on the company, on the planned market entry and on the eligible costs. Translations, certifications and coordination with tax advisor and bank are managed.

The application under 5973 is submitted by the company itself via its DYS account; METSE+ prepares the documentation and supports the procedure.

Deadlines and follow-up

Each programme has its own deadlines, post-approval evidence requirements and procedures for queries from the granting body. METSE+ maintains the deadline calendar, flags items due and prepares responses to queries.

Approval is decided exclusively by the competent authority. Where eligibility is unlikely, this is communicated before a proposal is issued.

Four steps from enquiry to follow-up.

Project

The subject of the project, the associated costs and the existing structure in the home country and in Germany are recorded. These three inputs are the prerequisite for the eligibility assessment.

Eligibility assessment

The project is matched against the programmes open in the current year; eligible and excluded programmes are recorded in writing.

Fixed proposal

Scope, schedule and fee in writing, third-party costs itemised separately. Work on the documentation begins on engagement.

Submission and follow-up

The company submits via its own account; METSE+ supports the procedure, manages deadlines and prepares responses to queries.

01Which funding programmes are relevant for a foreign company in Germany?
In Germany, BAFA, federal-state and EU programmes; EXIST addresses university-affiliated start-ups. For companies domiciled in Türkiye additionally the market entry support under Communiqué 5973, submitted via DYS. Which programmes are open in a given case is determined by the eligibility assessment.
02Who submits the application under 5973?
The company itself, via its own DYS account. METSE+ prepares the documentation and supports the procedure, does not act as applicant and receives no funding. The funding relationship exists exclusively between the company and the competent authority.
03Can approval be guaranteed?
No. Approval is decided exclusively by the competent authority. The services owed are the eligibility assessment, preparation of documentation and support through the procedure; no assurances or success rates are given.
04What does the support cost?
Proposal on request, according to the volume of documentation. The fee depends on the number of programmes assessed and the extent of the evidence. Before commencement you receive a written fixed proposal with third-party costs itemised separately.
