Five service lines

Each service line is engaged separately and begins with a written proposal.

Scope of services in every service line

  • One responsible contact in Munich, in German, English or Turkish
  • Written fixed proposal before commencement, third-party costs itemised separately
  • Preparation of appointments, documentation and translations
  • Status reports during the engagement and a closing report

Not included

  • Legal or tax advice as a service of METSE+

Legal and tax advice is provided exclusively by licensed professionals; METSE+ coordinates.

FAQ

Answers

01Must all five service lines be engaged?
No. Each service line is proposed and engaged individually. Most companies begin with a single matter, such as formation or the business address, and decide on further service lines at a later stage.
02Which service line is usually the starting point?
This depends on the purpose. Where a German customer order requires German invoicing, the project begins with GmbH formation. Where the market is to be tested first, it begins with the business address and premises; formation follows later. The sequence is set in the needs assessment.
03Who delivers the services?
Coordination, documentation and the responsible contact sit with METSE+ in Munich; delivery is carried out by our team. Tax and legal matters are handled by the licensed professionals METSE+ works with. Responsibility for each part is defined in advance.
04We already sell into Germany. Is a local presence required?
Selling into Germany and being established in Germany carry different obligations. Depending on the product, placing goods on the market already triggers registration and representation duties, for instance for packaging; details on the page Authorised representative in Germany. Whether a company or premises are additionally required follows from customer requirements, tenders and tax considerations and is clarified in the needs assessment.
05How long does market entry take?
Once documentation and the notary appointment are in place, formation is completed within a few weeks; account opening is usually the longest single step. Business address and premises run in parallel. Funding applications follow the deadlines of the respective programme. The timeline is set out in the proposal.
